Stakeholder Relationship Coordinator (Events and Ticketing) - Dark Mofo

Dark Mofo, Mona’s winter festival, is on the lookout for a Stakeholder Relationship Coordinator to join the 2018 festival team. In this temporary position, you’ll work closely with the Marketing Director – Dark Mofo to manage internal and external stakeholders, as well as coordinate guest lists, invitations and RSVPs.

This part time position will become full time in the approach to Dark Mofo:

  • 2 days/week (0.4 FTE) 26 March – 4 May
  • 3 days/week (0.6 FTE) 7 May – 1 June
  • Full time 4 June – 29 June

The You:

  • Coordinate the development and dissemination of invitations, guest lists, and RSVPs for invite-only events
  • Develop and roll-out Dark Mofo’s guest ticket policy, including seating charts
  • Maintain and further develop the Dark Mofo database, suggesting additions and updates
  • Greet guests at Dark Mofo events, and assist Ticket Support staff in the collection and re-sale of unused tickets
  • Communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work independently to meet deadlines while delivering work of the highest standard
  • Be available to work nights and weekends, as required

The Gig:

  • Possess a solid understanding of the state’s arts, music, tourism, and hospitality industries, and government organisations
  • Experience in festivals, or a similarly fast-paced working environment with, at times, strange hours
  • Experience in Tessitura preferred, but not essential
  • The confidence to liaise with stakeholders and work unsupervised
  • Ability to demonstrate examples of previous project management tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail, and clear and articulate written and oral communication skills
