Within the organisation, we have our finance team who are paramount to the successful operations of Mona. We are seeking an experienced, confident and professional Finance Manager to join us in supporting Mona's cultural and commercial functions. 

Reporting to the CFO, your expertise and knowledge will see you accountable for the efficient and accurate management of all things financial including but not limited to; leading the Finance team, monthly reporting, budgeting, financial control and accounting. 


  • Day-to-day management of the team, providing support and guidance to the full-function finance team. 
  • Lead and improve month-end accounting processes including the management of reconciliations and journals 
  • Perform financial planning and analysis that drive decision making, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Completing tax-related activity statements with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage and improve the annual budget process with start-to-end responsibility for delivering on time
  • Preparing annual budgets, working closely with key leaders and groups within the business
  • Perform duties of a Finance Business Partner to internal stakeholders, providing financial support and guidance
  • Focus on continuous improvement of financial processes and systems to achieve improved business outcomes, intelligence and reporting
  • Opportunity to improve and shape the Finance function


  • CPA/CA qualified
  • Significant experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-sectored, diverse organisation (5+ years at a senior level)
  • Outstanding leadership qualities
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting/forecasting, reporting and analysis
  • Ability to communicate financial data effectively to convey a clear understanding for our various audiences - both verbally and in writing. 
  • A proactive positive approach to all tasks
  • Agile and flexible work ethic, ensuring priorities are set and deadlines are met
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence with accounting systems and methods. 
  • Impeccable attention to detail accompanied by solid analytical skills
  • Resilient and adaptive, with the ability to work in a diverse and fluid environment
