We are looking to appoint an Assistant Business Analyst within the Information Services Team at Mona. This role supports the Information Services Manager to identify stakeholder needs and implement IT solutions that improve the end-user experience.

You will assist with the review and implementation of fit-for-purpose information systems to support Mona’s operational needs across the business. Success in the role requires the ability to collaborate broadly and be curious with the aim of understanding unique stakeholder needs across a wide array of business activities.

The Gig:

  • Perform needs and user journey analysis, connecting the impacts experienced by stakeholders with potential system solutions.
  • Research platforms and frameworks to fulfil business needs.
  • Prototype implementation of business systems and determine suitability.
  • Present recommendations to business stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
  • Engage consultants and vendors to provide solutions.
  • Enact user testing and provide feedback on functionality.
  • Gather user feedback and drive the optimisation of project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the overarching strategic goals of the Information Services Team

The You:

  • Strong general knowledge of information technology systems (development opportunities available for the suitable candidate).
  • Able to make correlations between feedback and broader business impact.
  • Comfortable to workshop issues, problem solve and present solutions to stakeholders / senior staff.
  • Enjoys interacting with a diverse set of stakeholders and is motivated to understand individual needs.
  • Solution-oriented, able to adapt processes to balance rigour and efficiency.
  • Understands how to define and access appropriate user groups.
  • Ability to understand and support Mona’s organisational structure and understand the span of operations.
  • Experience working in a role servicing other business units.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and able to collate and present information in a usable format.
  • Diligent, thoughtful and capable of thinking at a macro level.
