Casual Accommodation Receptionist

Mona is looking for a friendly and knowledgeable Accommodation Receptionist to help to welcome our guests to our world-class Pavilions and ensure they have an enjoyable stay. This casual role will support the team at the reception desk onsite at MONA in Berriedale. This opportunity will likely be 2-4 shifts per week at this time, including nights and weekends, providing quality accommodation and reception services to our visitors.  

The Gig:

  • Provide the highest level of guest services with all reservations, check-in & check out experiences; 
  • Work in conjunction with our external stakeholders and tour groups, liaising day to day for guest bookings, meet & greet arriving guests, as well as assist with transporting guests around the site;
  • Maintain concise & efficient records and information for reception and bookings;
  • Coordinate with other departments, taking enquiries, bookings, and orders for onsite experiences;
  • Understand and respect safe work practices;
  • Assist with other guest queries, as required.

The You:

  • Previous experience in either an Accommodation reception and/or Guest Service role;
  • We can currently offer approximately 15+ hours per week (mainly Friday - Monday operations);
  • Flexible in your approach to work, including being fully available to work weekends and public holidays;
  • Well presented, polite, and professional;
  • Accommodating and understanding of guest requests and requirements;
  • Previous experience with booking systems is preferable;
  • The ability to work effectively as an individual as well as in a small team environment.
