Despite the reduced programming this year, Dark Mofo will be conducting a range of activity from 13–23 June, including Winter Feast, Nude Swim and a host of events across the In The Hanging Garden precinct. This is where you come in. As the coldest, darkest time of the year approaches, Dark Mofo is on the hunt for bar staff to fill the array of pop-up bars and venues that come alive during the two weeks that the festival takes place. 

We are searching for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for crafting top-notch beverages, who are eager to form an integral part of the spirited debauchery that defines Dark Mofo. Bartending experience, exceptional service and a welcoming disposition are essential fields for all candidates.

The Gig:

• Delivery of quality drink service, with high standards, fast pace and style
• Provide bar service to patrons in accordance with RSA guidelines
• Use of POS 
• A safe, inclusive, comfortable and clean environment
• Enviro-conscious working space
• Festival style pop-up spaces as well as venue bars
• Night and weekend availability is essential

The You:

• A strong focus on visitor experience and customer service
• Experienced in bar service.
• Possesses or can obtain a valid Tasmanian RSA
• An inclusive, positive and friendly attitude to workmates and punters
• Adaptable to work in interesting, often weird and wonderful environments
• Calm under pressure
• The ability to work effectively in a demanding team environment
• Available to work a flexible roster from 10–28 June 2024
