Sommelier - Source Restaurant

We are seeking a passionate Commis Sommelier to join our vibrant and skilled Mona hospitality team at Berriedale. This multidisciplinary role involves delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the hospitality team with the sales and service of fine wines. You will help maintain the cellar and wine list, providing guests with exceptional wine experiences that showcase our Moorilla and Domaine A products, and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage offerings.

At Mona, we proudly offer Moorilla & Domaine A wines alongside a unique wine bunker filled with vinous treasures—an exclusive museum list. This list includes some wines David used to drink, some David is currently drinking, and some David might one day drink. There is no Pinot Gris, but plenty of verticals Grand Cru Burgundies, modern Californian styles, German Auslese Rieslings, Australian Shiraz, and Tasmanian wines we are fond of. Our wine list is available on request, adding an element of surprise for our diners. Our food philosophy emphasises quality, regional produce, plant-based where we can be, wild-shot meats, and line-caught seafood.
