Are you a driven and passionate bartender who wants to work in Australia’s most exciting destination? 

In this role at Mona, you’ll be a key team member working in our outstanding bars, serving up and shaping exceptional drinking and dining experiences for our guests. You’ll work alongside some of the country’s finest food and beverage staff, in a world-class tourism and art environment, delivering an exceptional experience. You will need to be sustainability-minded, creative and collaborative as you work with the team to present fancy cocktails and exceptional wine & beer (obviously).

The Gig:

• Be an integral part of the Mona Hospitality Bar team;
• Support the business by drawing on your knowledge and experience of classic cocktails, wine, beer, coffee, and bar day-to-day operations;
• Work within the Mona Hospo team, using your beverage knowledge and passion to contribute to some seriously cool upcoming projects;
• Have input in crafting individual cocktails for one, as well as festival-sized cocktails for the masses;
• Kick some eco-friendly goals by maintaining sustainable strategies already in place, and provide input on how to continuously improve;
• Be motivated, and motivational - your attitude and experience are what count.

The You:

• A desire to deliver a first-class customer experience;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• A positive and friendly attitude;
• Flexibility around work - weekends are a must;
• At least 2 years of bar experience in a similar role;
• Interest and passion for sustainability;
• Interest in creating low proof drinks with a produce focus;
• Solid knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine;
• RSA certification is a requirement;
• Barista skills and experience are a strong bonus.
