Are you the Section Waiter we need?

We are looking for existing Mona Hospitality staff to join our incredible Source and Faro Restaurant teams to train as Section Waiters.

If you are currently working in one of our venues, and want to continue to grow your skills in world-class table craft, delivering exceptional customer service, engaging with customers, and providing our guests with amazing experiences then this could be the next step in your hospitality journey with us here at Mona.

Ideally the successful internal applicant will need to be available to work across all current operating days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The gig:

• Work with MONA food and beverage team to deliver exceptional customer service
• Deliver high standard hospitality experiences alongside art, music, and performers within our on-site restaurants and function venues
• Confident in operating point of sale systems
• Physically fit to perform set up and close down procedures
• Provide beverage service to patrons in accordance with RSA guidelines
• Understand and sell food, beverage, and guest experiences and offers
• Understand and respect safe work practices and procedures

The you:

• Experience working in restaurant or hospitality venues
• Adaptable and able to work in various, fast-paced environments
• Passionate about Tasmanian food and produce
• Professionally presented, with highly developed interpersonal skills
• Solid appreciation and understanding for wine, beer, and cocktails
• Must hold a valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
