Ticketing Officer - DarkLab

DarkLab is seeking a skilled and organised Ticketing Officer to join our Venues team. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional service, thrive in a dynamic environment, and have a strong eye for detail, this role offers a unique opportunity to manage ticketing for DarkLab venues, including Odeon, In the Hanging Garden, and Altar Bar. You’ll play a vital part in creating smooth, memorable experiences for our guests while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.

The gig:

  • Engage with Ticketmaster and Moshtix to coordinate event ticketing for the Odeon, Altar, and In the Hanging Garden.
  • Consolidate necessary information for ticket builds and manage event creation in Moshtix; complete ticket build forms for Ticketmaster, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with the Odeon Venue Manager to adjust seating builds and event formats as needed.
  • Ensure announcement, presale, and on-sale timelines are communicated to marketing for EDMs and social media without conflicting announcements.
  • Assist promoters in finalising builds, including sharing ticket links, hold and pricing reports, sales updates, and answering any ticketing questions.
  • Work with Ticketmaster and Moshtix on marketing strategies, including EDMs and other promotional opportunities.
  • Maintain precise documentation and communication records for all ticketing interactions and booking requests.
  • Provide rate agreements and pricing information to agent companies as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with agents and promoters, ensuring timely responses and accurate information.
  • Support internal accounts by tracking and regulating invoices.
  • Facilitate complimentary ticketing (comps) and manage merchandise purchase data requests.
  • Provide opt-in data and ticketing reports to promoters as requested.
  • Handle inbound and outbound emails to respond to ticketing and event-related enquiries for DarkLab venues.
  • Administer booking requests for agents.
  • Proactively develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of DarkLab’s offerings, ticketing systems and policies, and access information to support efficient operations and customer service.

The you:

  • Proven customer service skills, with experience in ticketing or a related field preferred; experience with Ticketmaster, Moshtix and Tessitura is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, high level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Docs), and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and calm under pressure; ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Interest in DarkLab events, and guest offerings; familiarity with the tourism or travel industry is beneficial.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
